OK, the Russia investigation has certainly entered a new phase. I think I
can see what several of the chess moves seem to be about but I have to
admit some of these guys that were Trump's people going on TV and giving
interviews are some seriously odd ducks. Sam Nunberg and Carter Page
appear to be a couple of world class crackpots. Roger Stone seriously
appears to be some sort of foreign agent that is not working with the
interests of the United States in mind. Paul Manafort is most certainly a
foreign agent and is not loyal to the United States. This guy Felix Sater though basically looked and smelled like a Russian
mobster or at the very least somebody with ties to the Russian mob.
However, watch this interview. He claims to have been "working with the
government to keep this country safe" and he appears not to be kidding.
It would be fairly fucked up for him to attempt to claim that unless
something was going to back that up. So, what is he saying here and why is he on TV? It seems like he is
almost saying he was working for our government and was inside the Trump
organization specifically because Trump had some serious Russian ties
that were dangerous to this country. So, is Sater implying that he was a
spy/agent for the US government that was spying on Trump and his Russian
contacts? Was Sater trying to broker these Russia deals to set up a way
to get at Putin and his friends? Did Sater bait Cohen and Trump with
those emails saying he could get Putin to back and work to elect Trump?
WTF?Trump personally had this guy go to Russia to keep an eye on his kids
while they were there. Something here is very strange. Watch this
interview, which is kind of mind boggling due to what is implied but then
not said and then the interview just ends without Sater ever being
allowed to say what the hell he is talking about with working for our
government. Also very strange that Trump claims not to know this guy at
all but he obviously knows him quite well. I have now watched this interview three times. I still am trying to
unravel what this guy is all about.
