I'm not trying to win over this board, I'd be seeking a cross-section of Americans who could unite in a
bipartisan support for decency and a commitment to the truth. There would be plenty of time to revert to the
usual policy differences, unpleasantries, and acrimony but this is no ordinary time, this is no ordinary person. Peter T.
