Love those quotes, love 'em!Here's a few I share with my students and ask them to interpret. Some kids are remarkably perceptive and
enthusiastic discussion participants while others are dragged along for the ride. Kind of like adults. "Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people." - Eleanor Roosevelt"Get someone else to blow your horn and the sound will carry twice as far". - Will Rogers "Friendship is a sheltering tree." - Samuel Taylor Coleridge I know I tend to blather on about my admiration for Frank Turner but at the recent shows he made it a point to
state that he'd like to hear more people say "I don't know" and "I've changed my mind". Too often, changing
one's mind is viewed as a sign of weakness when in fact it's most surely a sign of an engaged and open mind
not to mention a confident self-image. Peter T.
