Can someone pls explain to me the rationale behind forcing NATO countries to spend even more money on the military ? Wouldn't the world be better off if everybody spent a lot less !!!??? From my POV this is PURELY an american ploy to make us buy some outdated crap (or worse, some untested crap) military from the US. Putting such things in the hands of more or less volatile countries (lets see turkey, hungary, greece, poland, rumania, ukraine, various ex-jugoslav countries etc) is NOT gonna make the world a safer place...
