As I listened and read about this disaster yesterday most people were
asking why Trump did this and most of them were giving basically three
options or just choosing to claim they were baffled by why he would
openly betray the country he is the president of. Keep in mind here there
is no question the Russians through the direction of Putin conducted an
attack on our electoral process to benefit Russia. Our law enforcement
and intelligence agencies have hard forensic evidence that proves this.
We have indicted through Robert Mueller's investigation Russian military
intelligence officers we have proof conducted the attack. Putin is our
enemy in a big way. He is also the enemy of our allies that Trump has
been pissing all over. Putin's people still have an ongoing operation to
attack the electoral process in our country and in several countries of
our allies and has recently murdered people on our allies soil...which is
the equivalent of murdering people in the United States. There is no
question what our posture should be toward Putin...and Trump kneeling for
the man is not it. Why did he do it? Here were the three options:1. He's just an imbecile that has no idea what he is doing. We can say we
know this is true. He ignored all advice from his own intelligence
people, ignored all of the evidence against Putin and Russia, and
literally got on his knees for Vladimir Putin in a disgusting display of
servitude to the man while calling his own country foolish and
stupid...with Putin absolutely glowing next to him. 2. He does not care about the United States and is acting in his own
interests. This is always true about Trump. Russia is no trading partner
nor any kind of partner to the United States. However, Russia has since
the 1980s put a lot of money into the Trump coffers. Trump still desires
to do business in and with Russia through his family companies. So, he
has great financial interest in being pals with the Russians...this
benefits only him and his family but not the United States. 3. He is working for Putin. The claim here is he is on Putin's team
through something Putin has on him or again through his own self
interest. Obviously, nobody has yet exposed if Putin does have kompromat
on Trump but it sure looks like he does. Yesterday when directly asked
that question Putin did not deny that he does...and with Trump on his
knees next to Putin and looking rather pathetically nervous, well, it
would not surprise me. However, the public does not yet know if he does
and so we can't say with any certainty if this is why Trump remains so
submissive to Vlad. Putting aside what we do not know, if there is kompromat, we do clearly
know that Trump is always only concerned about Trump. Not the people of
the United States and he certainly has no interest in our allies. So, to
me with all of the financial ties between Trump and his family with the
Russians and Trump's future business considerations with Russia I think
we can safely say that a giant part of Trump's motivation here is
financial benefit to himself. If anybody has any interest in this conversation I will put some pieces
of the puzzle together in this thread as we discuss this. I would love to have somebody like Marc actually participate in this
conversation...basically to find out if he still supports this menace and
why...but I think he is long gone. So, feel free to weigh in on what happened yesterday and why you think
Trump openly betrayed the United States. This is an historic moment and
we have never had a US president do this.
