Icon Devil's Triangle, the Clinton trap, and it is distracting...

...to watch these hearings and think "Wow, should these people be replaced." but that's where we are at. I think Senator Whitehouse does a good job as well as those you mentioned. He did actually make me laugh when his turn came after Lindsey Graham attempted to impersonate Jack Nicholson in A Few Good Men, as if he could actually be nominated for an Oscar, and Sheldon said something like "Wow, should we take a break after that."

It then got even funnier when Grassley, who appears an utterly clueless human being, responded to Whitehouse by granting a break until Whitehouse let him know he was just kidding and he was ready to proceed.

The joke from Whitehouse was an obvious shot at his friend Lindsey, and make no mistake they are friends, because Whitehouse was saying he knew that what Graham had just done was put on a show and he knew as well as Graham did that it was utter nonsense.

Yes, Feinstein and Lahey are way past it at this point and they do look weak and inept most of the time. I think they were genuinely confused during this hearing.

Yes, the "Devil's Triangle" is not a drinking game and refers to a three way sexual encounter between two men and a woman. Kavanaugh's response that it was a drinking game was laughable but when they sat the guy down to prepare him they told him "They are going to ask about your yearbook entries." and so they told him he would need to claim that this phrase referred to something else.

I mean it is obvious to anybody with eyes and ears that Weepy Brett was a complete shit through his high school and college years. He did and said vile things and behaved in shitty ways.

Does not mean he could not have grown into a better person as an adult but what has happened here, and Weepy Brett knows it, is he has been caught in what Republicans would call the Clinton Trap.

The Clinton Trap is when you have a guy that has female witnesses come out against him with credible allegations and you make the guy answer questions under oath.

At this point the guy has two choices lie under oath because the allegations are embarrassing and will publicly hurt him or tell the truth.

Bill Clinton lied and so did Brett Kavanaugh. Clinton was impeached for lying about sex and Kavanaugh has now openly lied in his "job interview" after swearing to tell the truth. Oops!
