Given their lack of response to my concerns, I must conclude that they don't share my worries. You know, on
occasion, it's actually good to read what Pat and Marc have to say because they provide me with a window
into the, er, "thinking" that we're up against. I rarely encounter folks who openly express such views though
I'm sure they are there at work, in the mall, in the restaurant. I'm positive that the average American's mind is
uncontaminated by the worries that I've offered up. One shouldn't fret over potentially existential threats
when there's a gun show to attend, a football game to enjoy and a team to vicariously live through, a Trump
hate fest that will reinforce that longed for sense of tribal identity, not to mention innumerable dopamine jolts. Don't you worry that this man is doing everything he can to divide us? Don't you see where this might lead
us? I guess these are rhetorical questions.Peter T.
