Eventually, these Trump supporters will come to the very hard realization that Trump was never for them and never going to help them and has only helped himself and the wealthy people that own him...at their expense.

A very close friend of mine that was once a hardcore Republican that left the party back while Dubya was president said to me that there is only one way that Republican voters learn anything...they have to be punished and suffer. They have to be conned over and over again until they finally stop falling for the same tricks.

I said to him at the time, right before the 2016 election, that was a pretty bleak outlook and I did not share it nor did I feel that was how things had to go.

He replied "Just watch what happens."

Each day since then during this train wreck of a presidency it has seemed I was very, very wrong and he was oh so right. That to me is heartbreaking.

I don't know if guys like Marc and Pat think I am against them...I am most certainly not...I would not waste any words here if I did not give a shit. I am very much against the people running this giant con game.

The wave of utter bullshit that swept Trump into the White House, nonsense about building a wall, immigrants, Muslims, abortion, and conspiracy theories about Hillary Clinton is so pathetic I still have trouble believing it all worked.

Still there is hope it just looks like it is off in the distance somewhere, over the next hill, beyond that point in the horizon we can't see past...but I know there are people, good people that will fight to get this right...
