Icon Flynn interrogation vs Dassey interrogation (16 yr old mentally disabled from "Murderer")

A couple of observations from the Flynn sentencing hearing today....

First, the reporting shows possibly somewhat of a lack of insight into the thinking of the judge. I'm really curious about his thinking when it comes to his questioning of Flynn if he felt he had been entrapped or coerced.

And then, to hear the right-wing pundits go on about how the big, bad FBI didn't provide enough advice to a three-star, college graduate man about lying to the FBI. Really!?!?

And then I contrast this to the Federal court system and how it viewed the interrogation of a 16 yr old, mentally disabled youth regarding the murder in the Netflix series "Making A Murderer." (I won't spoil it for those that chose to watch it).

One last item of contrast - Dassey's attorney called the police investigators and told them it would be okay to re-interrogate his client WITHOUT his presence. And before that, he had his investigator produce an interview about the murder FOR the police and court.

And people today were wondering if an adult man with advanced college degrees and a true attorney knew it was punishable to lie to the FBI??????

This country is truly fucked up....
