I think the key to figuring out Trump is to be able to climb into his brain and then, I don't know if anyone can actually do that. On the one hand, I really don't think Trump will resign. I don't think he will go out the door until some truly remarkable things happen. And I think the Republican Party completely lacks the integrity to put country first. For one thing, I think in his mind he has not done a thing wrong and no one can convince him he has. For an illustration, look at how the most basic fundamental beliefs of Republicans have been entirely ignored. What I mean is, the Republican Party has completely ignored Trump and his ties to Russia. And to me, this is important as a barometer to how far they are into the Trunk tank when thinking of what they will do when it comes to dealing with Trump. They are completely putting party and their own positions first. From religion to acting like Putin and despots are allies and allies are enemies is another illustration of how far the Republican Party has gone. Unless Mueller directly makes it clear the Trump children are headed to prison, Trump will fight until the ship sinks and the surviving Republicans are treading water like drowning rats. I hope I am wrong, but prior to this Midterm election, I thought if the Dems did very well and Trump showed to be a drag on the party, then that was when the Republicans would sort of wake up, however, I think they are not going to check Trump until it is very, very clear he has done irreparable harm to the Republican Party and it is just not there yet.
