Icon Documentary Won't You Be My Neighbor?....Fred Rogers

EEE (view)

I only was able to catch the last third of this documentary on PBS last night. Wow. That part was good.

A couple of notes - from what I saw of the people interviewed, Fred Rogers was as he was portrayed in his tv show - a sincere, genuine, caring person that cared for his fellow man and woman and loved caring for them.

Secondly, the attacks of this man by the right wing in this country show some of the things that are wrong with those despicable fuckers.

It is shown Fred Rogers was not gay, but at his memorial service, the "God Hates Fags" crowd was out in force.

Secondly, those pricks over at FauxNews and in the conservative media declared Rogers to be the problem a generation of Americans have grown to feel automatically entitled to all good things in life because he told people they were "special" and "unique."

I don't know about others, but from time to time, I sit and think of all the people I've known in my life that could have used such words along the way and those fuckers turn it into something bad.

I'm really looking forward to watching the whole thing. I can say this - if you can watch the end and try to fake not crying, then you are either a liar or one cold-hearted son of a Trump.
