I've watched 4 of the 5 episodes of Chernobyl on HBO. It's riveting television and much more than a nuclear
power plant disaster film. It's more broadly about the bleak and oppressive life under the horrid Soviet
system. It contains tellar acting, graphic depictions of radiation sickness, and innumerable displays of
courage by Soviet miners, soldiers, and first responders. Peter T.
