Some of the hearing I get from the album is it feels like outtakes from his simultaneous CD release of Lucky Town and Human Touch back in the early 90s (I always thought if he had selected the best cuts from each of those and just released one CD it would have been a masterpiece). But I also wonder if after his time on Broadway and of writing his book he found himself at a good point in his life and is trying to share that.
