I've not been a big fan of Quentin Tarantino's flicks. I liked Pulp Fiction a lot but I thought a lot of his other
stuff was spotty. He always seemed to be a man-child of a director. Once Upon A Time in Hollywood is
different. It really transported me back into Hollywood, 1969. The attention to detail is incredibly impressive.
Brad Pitt and Leo were terrific together, and I won't reveal the twist. It's money well spent.Blinded By The Light doesn't have the grand ambition, or the deep pockets to compete with Once Upon A
Time...but it has a lot of heart. And if you, like I did, fell in love with Springsteen during your formative years,
you'll really dig it. Yes, it's a bit manipulative, even cheesy in a few places, but it packs an uplifting emotional
wallop! And god knows, we need a few of them these days. Take your kids to the latter, certainly not to the former!Peter T.
