This one is interesting because even though my guess is you did not mean to make one you have a point here. Yes, the Mueller deal stalled out but it would be in your favor to understand why. Mueller was just writing a report to present his findings. He was not prosecuting the president, nor could he, nor was he going to present any opinions on if the president should be prosecuted. It was up to Congress to proceed with what to do once they had the report. After Barr lied openly about the report, delayed giving it to them, when it finally was out, Pelosi squashed moving forward with impeachment because she felt the public did not understand what was in the report.
This situation with Trump trying to manipulate Ukraine into inventing dirt on the Bidens in exchange for giving them aid/weapons is an entirely different deal. The evidence is simple and Trump provided it along with a map to where additional evidence is of him doing similar things with other countries. So, due to the fact that Trump, Barr, Pompeo, and of course Giuliani are doing this sort of hilarious circular firing squad thing all pointing fingers at each other...well...this should get fun. Mike Pence should soon be ensnared as well.
The part that needed to click into place here was impeachment proceedings being approved by Pelosi. She's finally in and her claim was she would only get in IF she knew the votes were there to get this done.
So, this is not like the Mueller deal because the Mueller report did not trigger an impeachment process, though it should have, this Ukraine deal has. I think Trump thought Pelosi would never approve impeachment.
Well, he was wrong. So, we are already beyond what the Mueller report was. This crime rapidly triggered impeachment. Republicans are repeating they are deeply concerned...and they should be. Trump called Pelosi to beg her not to do this and offered her any deal she wanted if she would drop the whistle blower report.
Trump feared the Mueller report would trigger impeachment, it didn't but now his nightmare has come true and the worst part is...Republicans know what he has done requires impeachment.

Face facts you can't get someone to run who can beat him so he beats the fake impeach narrative raises oodles of money and kicks Warren's ass back to the reservation.
What facts would those be? According to polling, pretty much every Democrat running is beating Trump. So, any of them can beat him.
This is why the Republican party will likely turn on Trump. They don't like him. They want him to step away and not run in 2020. The Republicans want to run a primary for their candidate. They want to run Mitt Romney and Nikki Haley. Why? Because both of them poll better than Trump.
Trump only won because the Democrats ran the worst candidate they could have run in 2020. There is no Hillary Clinton this time...she was the only person Trump could beat.
