I found this song by Tiger Shark on the new Relix CD sampler that comes with the magazine.  I then went over to YouTube and found more of the band's music and then solo stuff by the lead singer that goes by Nick 13. 

This guy and his band are really something and I can't imagine why I have never come across him and his band and his solo work before.   I guess he may have been featured in one of the magazines I read, but I don't recall.  Still, with all the shit out there today, it seems to create this impenatrable crust that stops the really good artists from rising above the junk.
