I've been giving Podcasts a try here and there and landed on one called The Great Albums. It has a podcast on Crow's album Tuesday Night Music Club. It is over an hour long.
Now, I have to be honest and admit after listening to some of it and the drivel of the yackers, I nodded off a few times and here's why: these morons were quite sparse in acknowledging the contributions of others and seemed to be completely ignorant of David Baerwald.
I don't know about everyone else, but from his other solo work and work with others (like David Ricketts), his influence, both lyrically and musically, on that album is pretty clear.
And that brings me to my last complaint about Podcasts - it's pretty shocking how poor some of the basic information in some of these supposed "expert" Podcasts can be. I've been listening to a few True Crime ones and the lack of basic knowledge of some of the topics discussed is pretty disappointing.
