Icon With each new issue of Rolling Stone, I mourn the passing of music magazines...

Don't get me wrong - there are some really good music magazines out there (Relix, American Songwriter, Under the Radar - No Depression is too expensive for me, but I'm thinking long and hard about getting it), but I am really mourning the loss of good music magazines.

Rolling Stone should just fold its tent.  It is pure garbage anymore.  If anything, it has become the epitome of "selling out" when it comes to rock and roll.  It seems like millennials are at the helm and I'm sorry, but they know jack shit and peddle jack shit when it comes to rock and roll and good music.  It's all about trends, popular or sell, sell, sell.

Yes, I know our rockers are aging, but in the last few months of listening to Spotify, there really is A LOT of good music out there.  It is just that these people don't get the attention they deserve.

Unfortunately, it seems like one really has to do a deep dive through all the scum that rises to the top and blocks the sunshine from reaching all of these excellent new artists.
