It seems that one of the "ever-faithful, sheep-like viewers" is Donald Trump. He reacts to TV more than he influences it. That is not to say that TV doesn't react to him, it does, but along the lines of it's own agenda and scheme for him.
Who is the main designer-doctor Frankenstein of this stumbling, sometimes incoherent political monster? It's hard to tell. Father or son Murdock? Don't forget Fairness Doctrine-elimination child, Trump hero, embarrassingly distinguished award recipient, Rush Limbaugh whose description of the coronavirus will haunt Trump like a dripping water torture every day of this upcoming national election.
That will be the least of his worries if the attempt to revive the economy before the virus is in check kills thousands more innocent and not-so-innocent, stacked-like-cordwood-in-church victims.
Skirting the macabre: Most of the victims of this pandemic in the US are Democratic voters. Would a political Frankenstein notice this?
