Perhaps your offering, EEE, will forever banish "Watching Scotty Grow" to the musical graveyard. Nice addition to what admittedly is a rather thin sub-genre. Nice bookend alongside Cats In The Cradle by... bless him... Harry Chapin. The more I read about Harry's charitable ways, the more admiration I have for the man. And I once worked for the supermarket chain whose truck killed Harry.
Now a challenge to you, EEE. I know you love the ballads but how about unearthing and sharing some catchy-as-covid 19, ridiculously high-energy, foot-stompin, finger-popping, pulse-racing, anthems that demand to be heard with the windows down.
Something like Festival Song, which may be my favorite song from the last few years.
