Spearhead..anyone listening to Michael Franti?

I saw Franti's old band the Beatnigs years ago opening for Billy Bragg. I thought he was interesting but not great; a good opening act for Billy.
Later I heard his new band the Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy; again good but not fully realized.
Last month I saw Spearhead at the Vancouver Folk Music Festival and I think that Franti has really arrived as an artist. Spearhead's blending hip-hop with rock and a really positive political vibe. The band is really tight and high energy. I think Baerwald fans might find them worth a listen.
Any Spearhead fans here?
