NO Herring...not melodrama, not leaving board forever. READ my post!  I just said in essence that things have gotten stale, there is NOTHING new here, at least for me, so I am not excited about any of the discussions because they revolve around very little that is meaningful to me.  So, I plan to be less involved and follow "at a distance", is all.   If there is more decent intellectual and emotional discourse in future, I would love to get more involved again.   I did not post as Kent did.  I am not angry, I am not "leaving".  

If you check old posts, archives, you find the same tired, worn-out themes.   Some band reviews, yammering about the US government and all it's warts and ills, and then personal chit chat (this should be done by personal EMAIL).   David did post, but up till recent, it is few and far between, though fun when he chimes in, and welcomed.   The "Pusser" thing should have been quelled from the outset, and I DO think the posts need monitoring, by Pat or Dan to some degree.   I really don't need to read that type of garbage on a site of this apparent sophistication.   Excessive cursing just for the sake of saying those words is a real drag, and very offensive, especially to the ladies who frequent this site.  Sorry....I am old fashioned in that regard; I am no saint, cause I am very loose-mouthed myself, but I try to tone it down when writing.

I had some recommendations that I sent to Pat in a private Email.   Pat, if you'd like or are inclined, please feel free to copy and paste the thing in it's entirety to the board.  

Now, as George Carlin once said, I will " retire to my lair, and use Nare if you dare".    (I think Nare (?sp) was a cream hair remover for ladies, way back in the 60s..doubt they make it any more).
