I generally know who most of them are, but as it was even when I was a teen . . . I just don't care. Music journalists write about and understand the poetry and symbolism of music fairly well. What they nearly always miss or mis-describe is the elegant use of melody, harmony or rhythm. They generally just don't know enough or haven't listed adventurously enough to go there. One who does do that and does it really well is Anil Prasad.
