I don't know what he is talking about but truth is he said that before we were in the midst of Donald Trump, Brexit, and a global pandemic...so whatever it was he was on about...well...things all went to shit anyway and we don't need anymore goddamn bad news. Perhaps he made a FOIA request and read documents that said all this nonsense was coming and just did not want to tell us how truly fucked we would end up.

74 million people fell for Trump, the Brits went tits up for Brexit, Putin has had the best 4 years of his life, they put children in cages at the border and took them away from their parents, we had a presidential administration that signed off on chopping up a Washington Post reporter, we have 43 senators and 199 congressmen that appear to want to be Nazis, people in this country actually elected Marjorie Taylor-Greene, we've all been stuck in our houses attempting to avoid Covid for a year...why would you even want to know what he found out? The shit we all actually know and is on the daily news is bad enough. 

What if he discovered there is a massive ale shortage coming? What more do you want to know that you are not going to like? What if Eddie Van Halen was really Australian? Some things are just better left unsaid.
