Hard to call him the absolute worst of the party. I mean he lies as much as he breathes, he has no beliefs nor backbone, he will debase himself and his family for absolutely anything, he could care less about the people he serves, and is a complete embarrassment as both a man and a human being...but Texans recently voted him back in so it will be a while before they get rid of him. Unless they manage to force him out for his lousy role in Trump's attempted election coup but I doubt they will do that. 

Truth is, or what seems like it is the truth to me, Democrats seem to like having guys like Cruz and Trump around because they are so horrible they don't even need to attack them. They just do horrible and stupid shit so often on their own they can just stand by and watch. 

I really thought Texans would reject Cruz when he was up for reelection but sadly they did not. I was surprised because Cruz is the definition of pathetic and he is as bad as Lindsey Graham in terms of not meaning anything he says.
