I brake for snakes, too! Ah yes, our Judge Judy appearance. Let me just say, this was not in any way my idea. The show contacted us to see if we were willing to have our case tried on their show. Our daughter was so excited to have us appear so I did it for her. I have no idea how they found out about the impending court case. I think it's possible that a clerk in the county court sent the filing to the show and they picked it up and contacted both us and the defendants. I would guess there was a finder's fee of sorts if the show aired. This played out nearly 20 years ago.
