Just saw this 2013 movie and enjoyed it greatly. It is about a 100-year-old man that has enjoyed blowing things up all his life escaping from a retirement home and going on further adventures with flashbacks of his life. Many have compared it to Forrest Gump, but the lead character is more on the ball - he's just stubborn and does what he wants to do. I would characterize it more as a blending of Guy Ritchie and Wes Anderson. There is also a follow-up called The 101 Year Old Man Who Skipped Out On The Bill and Disappeared. I have not seen the second one. Strongly recommended to those that enjoy understated humor and good ole fashioned carnage. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2113681/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0
