Here is our Democracy's ultimate "fuck you" and how it goes back to one single bad design by one person.

Recall in the 2000 election the horrible and confusing design of Floriday's Butterfly Ballot? That design caused enough Gore voters to get confused and vote for Pat Buchanan by mistake.  Remember, that for one to vote for Gore, the ballot vote markers were not directly across from his name which resulted in more than enough votes than the 517 votes that Gore would have needed to win Florida's electoral votes.

A BAD DESIGN by the ballot creator (oddly, if I recall correctly, the woman that designed the ballot was a Democrat, too).

Yes, that single bad design is the single reason why we are now where we are because George Bush nominated Roberts and that fuck Alito to the US Supreme Court and I believe if Gore had won in 2000 he would have been re-elected in 2004 because there would have been none of the Iraq War blunders. 

Yes, the Dems would have been blamed for 9/11, but I think they could have survived that in the next presidential election.
