Lots of people never do something that lasts 20 years. That's really quite an accomplishment. I mean, David is not a guy that has put out a bunch of albums in this time and he's not much for being in the public eye so, sort of difficult to just report on him and what he's been doing when he's mostly pretty quiet.
I know he has written a novel but have no clue what stage that is at right now. I would be curious to hear about it, best directly from him if he would turn up here and say something about it. I think last I heard he was going through some editing and rewrites. I know a while back he moved to New York as the interviews posted with him appeared to take place from his New York digs. I sort of hoped he would get the itch to play some music and maybe hook up with some New York based musicians and perhaps the opportunity to see him play something would arise.
Truth is, his music is probably way more relevant now than it was when he wrote it.
I am aware of his work with Project Blue Dot and looked at that project which seems focused on rural political races in Georgia. Seems a noble effort and I hope it has some success.
I look forward to reading his novel, hopefully you will get some updates on that. What I know of it sounded really interesting.
Somehow, 20 something years in here the need for a Baerwald Message Board has only grown, even if the number of visitors has shrunk. And we have yet to solve the mystery of what goes on in Pat Brown's head or if he even has one. There are scientific journals that claim the Trump supporter is nothing more than an id with an ass it can scratch.
