These days I seem to listening to old records more than anything new. I no longer find new music as easily as I did in my youth. So, what has been exciting to me has been to go back and listen to albums, sort of study them, and rediscover them in many ways. As far as current bands, I am really a big fan of The Black Keys, which is really just a lot of good old fashioned style blues and R&B rock.
I've been listening to the Fleetwood Mac record Rumours over and over. I did not listen to it a lot or even own a copy back when it came out so in some ways the experience of listening to the entire album is new to me. It's one hell of a record. There was definitely one of those strange and magic moments that occurred for those people to come together, fall apart, and make that record. Not sure there really is anything else like it.
