I can't watch those loons, Peter. It causes strange waves of depression to wash over me. Clearly this is a demonstration though of the mindset that allows people like Donald Trump to thrive, and Trump knows it. 

A prison of belief that people can't escape from. How is a bullshit artist like Bakker still around? Now he hawking doomsday sludge to his audience? 

Apparently, you can sell some of the people anything all of the time. I honestly believe that when we see FOX news or Trump just make stuff up, it is people like Bakker that showed them the way. Trump has thrown out multiple excuse now about why he had all that top secret information. His pimps have pushed each one of them from it was planted, to I declassified it, to it is just a paperwork/storage issue. Hilarious, but each time they switched stories, millions accepted the new story as if the old one never existed. 

You have to be of a specific mindset to do that. Sadly, the religious mindset is exactly that. One that allows the prison of belief. Some say, that to be rid of Trump only one thing needs to happen, religious leaders need to just tell their flock that someone else is the new savior doing god's work. That's it. Then they would all believe passionately in, well, Ron DeSantis. He'd be the bucket-o-sludge they would want to buy.
