So, no politics in this post, just some movie and music to check out.
First on the movie side, here are three I recommend from 2022 if you missed them:
The Banshees of Inisherin - From the same writer/director and two stars that made In Bruges this is a great picture.
Three Thousand Years of Longing - Believe it or not from the guy that brought us the Mad Max films. George Miller also made The Witches of Eastwick, which was the movie that I met Jack Nicholson on.
White Noise - Based on the Don DeLillo novel and directed by Noah Baumbach, this is a very cool film. Fits our bizarre times we get to live through. On Netflix.
Finally some music. A lot of what I am listening to is old. Not really caught up on a lot of new music. I've been on like a three year run of checking out guitar players and this is one of the guys I stumbled upon who is, well, pretty incredible. I would say he is to the Stratocaster what Roy Buchanon was to the Telecaster, except that he does not really just stick to his Strat. Here is Jimmy Herring and his Strat on a tune you will know...
