McCarthy has lost the 12th vote but some progress has been made. The 21 Republicans that have been holding up the process (led by Boebert and Gaetz) have shrunk to 7 on the last vote. I think it takes 6 of them voting against McCarthy to prevent him from becoming speaker so, McCarthy has to find some more stuff to give away to sway two more of the kooks over into his camp. 

He has stripped the speaker position of pretty much everything, it only now takes one of these loons to raise a vote to vacate the speaker, so we are pretty much assured total chaos from this congress. 

I mean to some degree this stuff is fun, because it is hilarious to see the Republicans pay the price for letting this scum take over their party and to see FOX news, who did all they could to perpetuate this, whine about it and how idiotic the Republicans look.  This is the "civil war" we were going to get. It is just a war within the Republican party, and really, the rest of us are spectators to the insanity. 

The party itself now just totally is made up of a lot of scum of the earth people. That Congressmen Mast from Florida, that encouraged his friend on Facebook to rape 15 year old girls. George Santos from New York who may not even be George Santos and has invented his entire life story and seems to have been given a large sum of money from some bad actors to get him elected. Gaetz, Greene, Boebert, Gosar, Biggs, Jordan...I mean the list goes on and on.

  Plus their number one priority is to investigate Hunter Biden...they actually want to make this one of the House rules. They are going to investigate the FBI, do a new January 6th investigation to attempt to blame that nonsense on Nancy Pelosi, they are going to attempt to impeach Joe Biden. Just a lot of stupid crap that keeps getting them on FOX news spewing garbage. This is who the Republican party is, a bunch of FOX news addicts fighting for facetime on the channel. This is what they think will win them elections.
