But having this confirmed then makes me ask the question, "Was the catastrophic failure of the Special Forces rescue of the hostages due to sabotage by agents of Bill Casey?" Not because I have any specific evidence of that, but because I do know me some Bill Casey, and I do know me the army of disenfranchised and embittered spooks and operators that worked for him, and this kind of job would be right in their wheelhouse.
