Peter T., for what it is worth - I enjoyed your piece.  One thing it did for me was remind me that those of us here are much more than just what we share in our comments. It would be very interesting to try and get the other regulars here (and encourage newcomers as well) to post a similar thing about themselves.

I remember when those of us who did not know Heathcliff's age (I really miss that man, his thoughts, and optimism) were very surprised when he revealed it and how he became an elder statesman and wise sage in his postings.  So, little reveals like that add depth to the characters that pop in and out here. 

Man, could one imagine what Kent would have written if he had done such a thing?
