Kevin you can’t extrapolate peoples motives for revenge from being the defining purpose in all of this. What happened historically with land is one thing but when a Hamas gunman kills your girlfriend or an Israeli rocket kills 19 members of your family you only have hatred and revenge to feed off of. For eternity.  

The rest is just detail now. The future is about getting even and perhaps biding one’s time. This thing can’t be won militarily but if you’re sworn to the utter destruction of a neighbour what choice does it leave. Hamas won’t use political means as theirs too is ideologically wretched and all we are left to behold is western democracies using terrorise principles they say they despise to their own ends. No one has the moral high ground anymore 

 
like I said we’re a disgusting species and none of my alien friends now want to visit us anymore. I for one don’t blame them.
