I'm with you on this, Reg, although I'm not sure Netanyahu had an understanding of just how horrific Hamas's attack would be. But still, it puts him in a position to rally his people behind him as he goes after Hamas. The people who lost their lives and those who lost loved ones were used for his gain. If Netanyahu really was thinking he could use the attack on Israel for his benefit, he appears to have misjudged his people.
