Thank you for that, I mean that from the bottom of my heart. Your contributions here recently have been fascinating, enlightening and inspiring if a bit scarier than I would have invited. I'm trying  to explain this catastrophic moment we have arrived at to a few people I care about, and the posts on this board from you and Reg have been really helpful. We just don't get how precarious it is over there on your side of the pond. We have the comfort of other liberal democracies such as France and Germany and of course the Scandinavian countries like Denmark and Norway and Finland keeping us from losing our nerve. 

My biggest worry over here is that what I would have considered leftist politics have been veering ever so far away to the right that I cannot see a way out of this that is measured and balanced. Labour is led by a Tory in disguise, Lib Dems are impotent, the greens to small.

 We are indeed living in Orwellian times. But somehow worse...
