Icon Vince Clarke

Not sure how many of you are into contemporary instrumental music, but if you are at all I heartily recommend Vince Clarke's new album, Song of Silence.

Also, Pino Paladino and Blake Mills and Sam Gendel's' 'Notes Attached'

Clarke's is synth based, with an amazing cellist and Clarke's always fabulous sonics.

Blake and Pino's is, to me anyway, as profound at times as Miles Davis' Kind of Blue. (disclaimer: Blake is an old friend of mine)

In fact, I just noticed, in this video Blake is playing a gorgeous little 19th CE French parlor guitar I gave him when I moved back East.
