One of the things taught in human behavior when it comes to punishment working for behavioral correction or deterrence is that it must be swift, sure, and harsh.
If one examines our justice system, these three things are collectively rare to properly occur at the same time.
This is a perfect example of why Trump will remain to be Trump and what all these spineless judges need to remember. So far, he has barely faced any of the three believed required tenets of deterrence when it comes to this concept and therefore, will continue to behave the way he does.
And is it not so rich that one of the biggest arguments of the right when it comes to things like terrorism and other behavior they don't like is how if you don't deal with misbehavior or terror harshly, then it only emboldens future bad behavior.
