I can get a bit obsessive about the bands that mean so much to me and WPA are in the thick of it so...

Here are a few choice songs:

Woman of Ireland: He's interested in the woman from Ireland but she just goes on about Christy Moore, Van the Man and Bobby Geldof in a party in Fitzroy!

A Tale They Won't Believe: this is the best damn song ever written about cannibalism, granted it's a pretty thin field.

Under The Clocks:many fine observations of Melbourne

Rain In My Heart: just delightful

For A Short Time: this should be played at my funeral. I adore the line "sometimes you can say more, in a drunken hour or so, than some people get across in a life of lying low, and sometimes you can feel more, for someone you've barely kissed, you don't see it at the time, and the moment that you missed. "

Knockbacks In Halifax: The band journeys from Oz to Halifax, Nova Scotia only to realize that the shit they talk in discos the world over sounds the same.

Step In Step Out: a couple work different shifts and it's making them strangers to each other.

I could go on and on but this will get you started. And as a huge Clash fan, I'm delighted that they named themselves after that throwaway line from Joe Strummer at the very end of the song, Revolution Rock.

Here's Away Away, the first song of their own that they heard on the radio
