That was one of I think 6-8 songs I did with the amazing James Hall of New Orleans. It was during the period of great culling, the slow and then sudden collapse of Geffen, A&M, Interscope and all the other mid sized indie/major record companies, which resulted in artist after artist being unceremoniously dropped. James was a little too intense for the suits at the time, as I recall, and he was essentially silenced.
