Adding a profile section

You know when you pull up a thread you can:

Click on the <person's name> (click for history) it will bring you to a page that shows all the threads for that person

What do you guys think of the idea of adding  a profile section there that would have things like your:
1. Alias
2. Why I came to this site?
3. Favorite Baerwald CD and Song?
4. What I'd really like to ask David is?
5. My Profession
6. Favorite Band/Type of Music
7. Email Adress (absolutely optional)
8. Political Comments

Any other ideas or is this already a bad one?
