Yeah - Joe is in"famous" for having a hardliner stance against the use of to many pedals and boards with a lot of stuff in front him. I think he mostly only has a wah-wah and does the rest with the amp and the guitar.
I've seen him twice here in Denmark - one with loud heavy stuff and one with more traditional and his own blues stuff.
