For what it's worth I don't know, but in a strictly Danish/European setting I AM what we here call right leaning... Individualistic libertarian, but for (note this is a position without the religious connotation that you guys put on everything; over here we tend to keep religion far away from most of the political parties)
- However that position does not exist in the US, so it is really difficult to chime in with something relevant, because most of the things that are pressure points such as (guns (NO), abortion(yes 12-14weeks), taxes (reasonable, but here in Denmark they are a bit high :-) ), religion (keep it to yourself), healthcare (free), unions (yes, but not mandatory) etc) are more or less solved.
The only discussions we have left are immigration (I say stop) and environment (This IS big, but on the one hand I AM going green, (spent 300K $ on a solar battery roof solution on my moms house, next car is electric) but on the other I don't like geoengineering and there is NO WAY I believe we can fix the CO2 in the atmosphere so better just prepare for the worst...)
All the wars are more or less a consequence of the two latter problems fueled by nutters, so it is also very difficult.
As for the middle east, I'm with Israel. If no other state in the middle east wanna help the Palestinians, then there is probably a reason. Best longtime solution is to move the settlements from west-bank to Gaza, and then close the border to the west-bank.
My perspective from a (sort of) right wing European.
