That's a good summation, EEE. I watched it last week, and like a good book, I couldn't put it down. I was surprised to learn that Richard Gadd played himself in the series. I had to laugh because at first I simply thought they had cast an excellent lookalike for the main character—wait, that's no lookalike—that's him!
