So, the biggest decision the Supreme Court has ever made, came on July 1, 2024. On that day, we fundamentally changed as a country because SCOTUS gave the powers of a king or emperor to the president. 

We are not feeling that yet because the guy in the White House has no intention of using those powers but a lot of people with a lot of bad intentions now know, becoming president opens the door for you to commit any crime you want and call it an official act. In fact what the court ruled is that anything the president does while president is an official act, that any prosecutor or the justice department has to start from the position that if the president did it, it is not illegal. 

It goes even further than that, if a prosecutor believes a president has done something he does not have immunity for, the prosecutor MAY NOT ask for evidence to prove the act was not something the president is immune for. 

What the ruling did, was insulated the president from any prosecution and made the president essentially the sole person that will decide if what they did was an official act. If the president says he was acting in an official capacity, then the Supreme Court says we have no business challenging his word. They would, if they were to rule on something, defer to how the president views the act. 

And now, the Democrats have come apart. James Carville just said he absolutely believes Biden is going to drop out of the race. He's essentially guaranteeing it. I don't much care for Carville but he has deep connections within the party, so I kind of think he is not joking. 

Biden is old, but he is not abusive of his powers as president. We know Trump is a criminal that prefers to act in a criminal way. Were he elected, he will have free reign to commit any crime he chooses without fear of prosecution. 

Now, by all accounts, the majority in this country wants both Biden and Trump to drop out. Looks like Biden may, Trump never will because he intends to shred this country for his own benefit. 

Until July 1st, we never had a country where a president could do anything to any one of us and be totally immune for it...now we do, and the road back from that is not a short one...it is a long and winding road. 

So, don't expect that to be solved before we elect a president in November. 

Project 2025 is a plan to dismantle our government and if we elect Trump, expect it to be dismantled and then to see him begin to exact his revenge against anybody he sees as an enemy first, then all citizens of the US, and then the world. Trump will discard our old allies and make our allies whomever gives him the most money. And now it will be easy, because of the powers granted the president by the Supreme Court. 

I hope people understand this, but I have a feeling, most do not. And I listened to hours of MSNBC recently and mostly what they talk about is if Biden should drop off the ticket. That is not the big story, the big story is what SCOTUS did and it gets mentioned but far less so than Joe Biden. 

I think to some degree Mick is correct, we are not prepared for what could happen.
