One thing I believe is, people here on this site, the few of us, are more politically savvy than the average person. We pay attention, we read, we believe in an exchange of ideas, and we are voting based on reason and logic. You are an organizer, much more savvy than an average voter. You, people you know, people you talk to, they likely are comfortable standing firm with Biden. 

I think a lot of average voters watch TV. A lot of Democrats and Independents watch CNN and MSNBC. Yeah, I know TV is not the force it once was, we have the internet. I don't know where people are getting their info from, but it is probably a combination of places. 

We are not the ones trying to push him out, and frankly, we don't have the voice in this case of a Carville or Clooney, who do have the ear of a lot of Democrats. 

When I heard Carville saying Joe is definitely dropping out, I thought "What? What is going on?"

I went to the internet to see if something happened. 

I've heard Carville speak about the party and the candidates many times, this shocked me. My feeling was, he would only make that kind of statement, a really damaging one for Biden, if he knew it was true. No way he says that if he does not have some kind of certainty that was what was happening. So, my guess was, he had some inside dope. 

Now, we can look at is as "Hey, fuck Carville and Clooney!" but I'm not sure that gets us there. 

I guess I would ask you, if you spoke to the person you know that is highest up in the party, what are they thinking?  

I know where we are at, it is ride or die for us. We have to try to hang on to some kind of democracy. We can't give a criminal the keys to everything and expect not to get robbed and/or killed. 

Here's what really bothers me. If Biden sticks it out and loses, guys like Carville and Clooney will say "I told you!" and they will blame us, and say we should not have continued to support Biden. 

The thing is though, I am not on TV, I am not getting quoted by media outlets the world over, and all the big newspaper outlets. I did not fly into a panic and start going on TV after one bad debate screaming Biden has to go...they did that. And it will be one of the reasons Biden loses if he does. I don't have thousands of Democrats hanging on my every word, they do. 

I think we have to be ready for whatever happens and I think it has been obvious since before primary season, if one thing was certain, we've never known if either of the frontrunners would still be running when people actually get to voting in November. 

This thing has been in flux and we have hit a major bump in the road.
