Perhaps, Pat, you should reflect on the Enlightenment values which provided us with so much progress on so many fronts. Which party is doing the better job in upholding progress, tolerance, constitutional government and separation of church and state? Yes, there are extreme social justice people with whom I disagree, but honestly, they are on the fringe of the Democratic Party, unlike your side wherein the rot has fully encompassed the entire structure. And while you are at it, check out what constitutes a liberal democracy and ask yourself, which party is a greater threat to an independent judiciary and the system of checks and balances. Lastly, glance through the Heritage Foundation's ghastly Project 2025. Should it be unleashed, well, the Handmaid's Tale will have arrived.
