I finished "How Fascism Works" by Jason Stanley. It clearly presented the various components which make up fascism. I made copious notes in the margins but honestly, I'm not up to typing them. The 10 chapter titles give you a good idea about the various topics and battles that the fascists routinely engage in. Here they are:
The Mythic Past, Propaganda, Anti-Intellectualism, Unreality, Victimhood, Law and Order, Sexual Anxiety, Sodom and Gomorrah, and Albeit Macht Frei (Work Makes One Free). So many of these chapter titles readily connect to issues that America and the West have been grappling with for years. There's no mystery to the fascist manipulation, but how democracies push back is a hell of a challenge. Today's political advertisements are brimming with variations of these issues.
Just finishing Man's Search For Meaning by Viktor Frankl, and recently began Hidden Hand: Exposing How The Chinese Communist Party Is Reshaping The World.
Still waiting for The Fire Agent! I promise to post comments and hope others will as well!
